The intricacies of music woven back and forth between two pianists is a thrilling sound with which to fill a hall. We will share our own thoughts about this music along the way. From the playfulness and charm of Prokofiev’s ‘Romeo and Juliet’ and Samuel Barber’s whimsical ‘Souvenirs’ (originally for four-hand piano), the concert culminates in the majestic music of Brahms’ Variations on a Theme by Joseph Haydn (the original title of ‘St. Anthony Variations’) and the fantastic movements of sweeping lines and color in Rachmaninoff’s inimitable ‘Second Suite for Two Pianos.’

A reception follows the concert – please stay and meet the artists!
