SUNDAY, DECEMBER 1, 2013 – from 2:30PM to 5:00PM at Ivy Hall
Featuring a number of Frederic Chopin’s most intimate piano works, his idiosyncratic MAZURKAS. This unique compositional form, inspired by the folk music of Poland, became a link for his people to their homeland. Written like a personal journal throughout his life, the Mazurkas let us explore what Chopin says from his heart so remarkably in music.
