ASHLEY OPALKA, soprano

Ashley Opalka, sopranoAshley Opalka, soprano, is a Philadelphia native who studied under William Stone at Temple University, receiving her Masters in Vocal Performance. She has performed in opera, art song, and musical theater, both locally and in the New York City area. Favorite roles include Desiree Armfeldt in A Little Night Music, and Giulietta in Les Contes d’Hoffman.

Presently, she is Copy Editor for the magazine, Listen – Life with Classical Music.

She currently lives in West Philadelphia, and teaches voice. She recently performed a life-long favorite composition of hers with Fine Art Music Company, Knoxville: Summer of 1915.
